ORGANIZATIONS & ADVOCACY CAMPAIGNS Energy Action Coalition - Energy Action is a coalition of more than 40 organizations from across the US and Canada, founded and led by youth to help support and strengthen the student and youth clean energy movement in North America. Energy Action Coalition initiatives include Power Shift, the Campus Climate Challenge , ItsGettingHotInHere.org , and Focus the Nation . Student Environmental Action Coalition - SEAC-pronounced "seek," as in "seeking" -is a grassroots coalition of student and youth environmental groups, working together to protect our planet and our future. Through this united effort, thousands of youth have translated their concern into action by sharing resources, building coalitions, and challenging the limited mainstream definition of environmental issue League of Conservation Voters - The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) is the independent political voice for the environment. To secure the environmental future of our planet, LCV’s mission is to advocate for sound environmental policies and to elect pro-environmental candidates who will adopt and implement such policies. - '08 On The Record - A questionnaire was designed to elicit responses and ideas from the entire field of 2008 presidential candidates regarding what environmental and conservation groups consider the most important national issues of the day.
